Xbox 720 Release Date, Specs and Price. Hot Gadget Rumor 2012

Most people of game player wonder, especially Xboxers, about what the next hot gadgets that they can enjoy to kill their time in 2012. The rumors of the next generation gadgets that they have been waiting for is Xbox 720. Rumors are suggesting that Microsoft will reveal the next-generation Xbox at E3 2012, some people are suggesting that this will be called the Xbox 720, however this is unconfirmed, today we will look possible technical specifications and a price point for the console.
When questions were asked about the much propagandized and rumored Xbox 720, plus was also asked whether they would be dropping the great Xbox 360 gaming console which has won the hearts of many video game players in the world, the head of Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business division, Peter Moore, replied they will supporting the Xbox 360 as long as it is sold. He also added that the team is presently working on the new gaming console named Xbox 720 and also what kind of CPU the gaming console will be supporting. If the gaming console Xbox 720 is released, the life span of the existing Xbox 360 will be nearly six to seven years in the market.

The Xbox 720 is the next generation of the hot gadgetsXbox 360 and also is considered to be very powerful than the existing of the previous one. It is also believed that AMD is having hands on the computer processor and the graphics of the console.  It is also claimed that the console will be based on a modded Windows 9 Corethat uses a Zune HD-like hardware platform.
The Xbox 720 is also reported to be designed by Microsoft and three other partners AMD, Imagination Technologies & Samsung and is based on ARM architecture.
Some sources predict the console will retail for somewhere between $400 – $500, if this is the case don’t be too surprised if there is a more expensive model available it can be reach higher up to $700.
The experts of this gadgets has made prediction about some specifications, in terms of internal storage if standard 2.5-inch hard drives are used a minimum of 250GB to be available, but when it is compared to SATA hard drive, the prices wouldn’t be a lot more to give it a 320GB or 500GB HDD instead, the master of it console don’t think that 1TB of storage will be necessary as 500GB should allow you to store plenty of games, DLC and demos. There is also a chance that Microsoft may choose to give the 360 a solid-state drive, these use less power, run cooler and are quieter and faster than standard HDDs.
The rumors predict that it will feature integrated WiFi b/g/n, this will ensure that it will be able to connect to existing wireless access points and even lots of the latest and greatest wireless routers. And of course, all the game players expect there will be an Ethernet port, to be honest 100Mb/s is sufficient.
The Xbox 720 hopefully have optical drive reader more than the Xbox 360′s optical drive reads dual-layer DVDs which hold roughly 8GB of data. The PS3′s Blu-ray drive supports single-layer discs which hold roughly 25GB of data and also dual-layer discs which hold roughly 50GB of data. We wonder if this time round Microsoft will bite the bullet and give the next-gen Xbox a Blu-ray drive, either that or a new format altogether.
The 360′s 3.2 GHz PowerPC Tri-Core Xenon processor and 512MB RAM ensured that it would have longevity, the new Xbox will undoubtedly wipe the floor with this, however Microsoft have to take into account price limitations. People would like to see at least 4 cores with clock speeds of 3.5GHz per core, however we think that Microsoft could surprise us with a 6 or 8 core chip. As for graphics processor the 360 featured a 500 MHz ATI Xenos GPU which was quite similar to theATI Radeon X1900 / X1950 graphics cards, the expert of this gadgets think that Microsoft will stick with ATI (who were acquired by AMD back in 2006), perhaps Microsoft will choose something similar to to the 67xx / 68xx series, however something like this is extremely hard to predict.

The following some statements about the hot gadgets of Xbox 720:

Xbox 720's Controller
All the Xboxers hop that Kinect will be the part of this console. Microsoft's  from the Kinect announcements at E3 2011, Microsoft is beginning to look at ways of integrating Kinect into more 'hardcore' games, so it is likely to play a significant part in any next generation Xbox console.

Blu-rayStephen McGill, they willl not be going the way of Blu-ray believing that digital media is the way forward. In an interview with CVg last year, McGill said:
"We have no plans to adopt [a] Blu-ray drive for the Xbox 360. In fact, the future of home entertainment started last autumn when Xbox 360 became the first and only console to offer instant-on 1080p streaming HD movies."

Gaming in the cloud
Cloud gaming service OnLive could be a possible solution. OnLive VP of Engineering Joe Bentley recently spoke to CVG and when asked if he could see its service working with Microsoft and Sony, responded:
"Absolutely, they would make great consoles. Our controller is a hybrid between a PS3 controller and an Xbox controller. It's all compatible, it would just work. There are OnLive guys chatting [Sony and MS], but we'll see where it goes. But it would absolutely work, we're ready to work with everybody."

To be announced at E3 2012?
First talk of an E3 2012 unveiling surfaced when Crysis 2 devs Crytek were reported to have claimed that the new console was E3 2012-bound, and that the company was working on a new Timesplitters title for the new Xbox 720.
Crytek have since refuted the claims, but BGR now say that they have it on good authority from a source “with knowledge of Microsoft’s plans within the company’s Entertainment and Devices Division” that the Xbox 720 will be announced at E3 2012.
The Elusive Xbox 720 Release Date is impossible to say with any positivity exactly when we can expect to see this all new Xbox appearing on the shelves of our favorite gaming stores across the country, Microsoft has yet to make any announcement. The eyes of gamers across the globe will undoubtedly be focusing on E3 2012 (Early June 2012) as the possible medium for an announcement from the boys at Microsoft.
